In general, identity documents, birth certificates, financial statements, and welfare assessment reports are part of the process. Malaysian courts may consider applications to vary custody or access orders where there has been a material change in circumstances since the original order was made. This includes changes in a parent's work situation, place of residence, or the child's needs. The court's primary consideration remains the welfare of the child, and any application must be prepared with this in mind.

The firm's fees are stated clearly from the outset. Family Conflict Mediation is MYR 730, Adoption Process Counsel is MYR 850, and Custody Variation & Access Arrangements begin at MYR 1,420. Where a matter becomes more complex than initially anticipated, the advisor will discuss any potential fee adjustments with you before proceeding.
